Applying through MNsure
Most will be able to apply for their health care through MNsure.
MNsure is Minnesota's health insurance marketplace to apply for the government-sponsored health care programs Medical Assistance (MA) and MinnesotaCare or determine if you qualify for other financial help in the form of tax credits or cost-sharing reductions.
MNsure is NOT for people who are age 65 or older, those that are blind or certified disabled, individuals living in or moving to a nursing home, or those applying for supports to remain in their own home.
Go to the MNsure website to create a MNsure account and apply online. The MNsure site has all the information necessary to support you during your application process. Applying online is the fastest way to a MNsure eligibility determination, but if you would like a paper MNsure application mailed to you, please call 651-554-5611.
