Inmate Canteen being upgraded
Dakota County Jail will upgrade the TurnKey/Inmate Canteen system the week of Oct. 21. This will affect Inmate Canteen communication and visiting and online canteen ordering as well as online and lobby deposits. The system will be unavailable from Monday evening, Oct. 21 to Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 22.
Beginning Tuesday afternoon, visit inmatecanteen.com, log into your account and select Dakota County, Minnesota. You will be redirected to the new Inmate Canteen website. Log in with the same username and password that you were using on the previous website. Once that process has been completed, you can visit the new Inmate Canteen website in the future.
When the new system is active, you will want to contact your friends and family (by email or text) using this new website. This will allow them to continue their conversations with you in the new system.
